Assign students attending “2+2” program at the International University of Nagasaki, Japan

School introduction:

The International University of Nagasaki is a modern international university. Students from Japan and all over the world gather in this campus endeavoring and striving together. “People oriented” is as the construction idea of the university, concerning about the essence of human, realizing harmonious society, and use it as a basic of teaching, focusing on devotion, following out the education with less people and cultivating person with ability in all kinds of fields. The International University of Nagasaki not only provides high-quality education in class, but also takes practical education as a pillar of education research for enriching students’ practical experience. In course arrangement, the university introduces rich and colorful in and out of class practice, then investigate and research the content which have practical significance to inspire the potential of every students. Foster students’ personality and rouse students’ desire of study by nuanced conduction.

According to the “2+2” Student Exchange Agreement between Zhejiang University City College and International University of Nagasaki, our college will select outstanding students to go for study and communication. The notifications about some matters are as follows:

1.Program content

The International University of Nagasaki implement “2+2”programme in junior, fall, carrying out full Japanese instruction.

Learning duration：2 years

2.The range of selection and quota

For the internal students major in Japanese in foreign language institute, and the quota is 5 people.

3.Selection qualification and process

（1）Selection qualification

●All-round development, knowledge, ability, quality and documentary comprehensive assessment are good or above ;

●The course of study can’t be less than the requirement of the teaching plan for the current term;

●Be proficient in spoken Japanese.

（2）Selection process

●Student fill out the application form for studying aboard, and submit it to the foreign language institution for registration and get the project brochure;

●The foreign language institute verifies the materials and organizes the selection, determining the list of recommendations according to the rank of GPA, and reports it to the working group of study aboard;

●The foreign language institute will prepare the application materials in accordance with the requirement of International University of Nagasaki;

●The teacher from the International University of Nagasaki will come to take the entrance examination (including written examination and interview) for the applicants;

●The list of selected students will be confirmed by International University of Nagasaki and post on the website of City College.

●If there is no demur during the public announcement, it will be confirmed as the final selected student after examination and approval by the leaders of the college, and it will be published on the office website.

4.Costs

（1）According to the agreement, during the study in Japan, the Japanese side will exempt our students’ entrance fee, 250000 yen per person. The course fee will be reduced by 30%~50% during the term, according to the regulations of Japan.

（2）Students need to afford the expense of accommodation, living expenses and so on by themselves during study in Japan.

（3）During study in Japan, students need to pay the professional fee and credit fee according to the college regulation, for details, see the “Measures on Tuition payments management of Zhejiang University City college (revised in 2013)”(the development plan of Zhejiang University City college[2013] number 2 )and the “Notice on tuition fee standards for new professions in 2014 and adjustment of tuition fee standards for some of the original professions of Zhejiang University City college”(the development plan of Zhejiang University City college[2014] number 2 )

（4）The International University of Nagasaki will provide scholarships for our students as appropriate.

5.Related requirements

·The requirements and process of applying for the graduation certificate、diploma can be handled according to the document of ”The opinions on students returning to school in International Cooperation Program of Zhejiang University City college ”(the development education of Zhenjiang University City college[2012]number13)
